1. Open the SSH File Transfer Client .
It will appear similar to the picture on the right. Notice
where "Quick Connect" is located. Find it and click there.
2. Select Quick Connect.
To ftp to agro1, enter agro1.css.orst.edu for the host and
your login name and click Connect.

| 3. You will be prompted for your password. |

4. If you've entered your password correctly you will have
a connection to agro1.

| 5. Click on the CSS folder and then move to users
(for your home directory) or groups (for the O: drive). The
picture on the right shows the folder of a user with the login
name aftp. |

| 6. There are many ways to do a file transfer.
The easiest is to copy and paste or drag and drop. For example
you can open MS Explorer or My Computer on your local computer
and just drag or copy files between the folders. |

7. You can also use menu options to upload
or download
or select download or copy by right-clicking on your selected
files. As you can see, you can also rename or delete the file(s)
so be careful. |

8. When you are done, disconnect from the server by
selecting the disconnect button
or select Disconnect from the File drop-down menu. |
