    • Research Associate (Post Doc) - This research is exploring how Ammonia Oxidizing Archaea (AOA) and Ammonia Oxidizing Bacteria (AOB) are involved in the nitrification process in soils under different vegetation and land use practices. The postdoctoral research will be focused on laboratory and field studies with natural and manipulated soils and will involve the use of molecular biological and stable isotope techniques.
    • Research Associate (Post Doc) - The person in this position will investigate the role of bacteria and fungi in the ecology of nitrogen cycling in soils.
    • Instructor Pool - The Department of Crop & Soil Science is recruiting for part-time Instructors to teach on a term by term basis for the 2007/2008 academic year.
