The 2006-2007 OSU Soil Judging team has qualified for the National collegiate soil judging contest to be held at Utah State University in Logan , Utah. The team will travel on April 14th, 2007 to Logan for the contest and will return on April, 22.

The objectives of the Oregon State Soil Science Club are to learn, describe, and classify different types of soil.  They determine important aspects of the soil and develop skills that help them to compete at Regional and National competitions.
