- Several faculty have asked about having greater independence and freedom to purchase computing hardware and software.
- Is this advisable? If so, why? If not, why not?

Some faculty would like to see other points of entry – by crop (potatoes, wheat, barley, etc.), by discipline (soil physics, soil biology, plant breeding and genetics) – as the current topic buttons can be confusing. Assess other departmental pages and determine if changes could be made.
