The Oregon State University BugZoo is a student group interested in educating its members, other students, and the public about the joys and importance of insects.  BugZoo educates through live displays and hands-on activities for both the public and its members.

We maintain an exclusive collection of live arthropods to use in our educational programs.  We educate all ages and all sorts of groups including elementary school students, 4-H, adults, and church groups.  We are especially interested in reaching local and rural schools with limited budgets.  Our hope is to provide an unique, interactive experience typically unavailable these students.

We also provide educators with information they can use independently in the classroom, including literature and tips on raising arthropods in the classroom.

The BugZoo participates in outreach at community events as well, including Museum DaysDaVinci Days and OSU Ag Days.
