1999 triticale variety trials at Madras, OR       

NOTES:

Madsen is a soft white winter wheat included as a check. Madsen yields in this trial were similar to Madsen yields in the Madras winter grain variety trials. Bogo triticale was also grown in both trials. Additional triticale data for 1999 can be found in the Corvallis triticale variety trials, North Valley winter grain variety trial and the 1999 triticale N rate trials.

Alzo and Bogo are winter triticales from Poland. Migo, Wanad, Gabo, and Kargo are spring triticales, also from Poland, that we grew in these winter trials.

All seed was treated with fungicide and Gaucho (insecticide).

Seeding rate was 30 live seeds per square foot.
