Mahmut Dogramaci
Research Interest
Insect pest management in cropping systems, insect ecology,
biological control, arthropod sampling, host plant resistance, tri-trophic
interaction and integrated pest management. During my graduate studies
I focused on insect distributions in agro-ecosystem and multilevel
interactions among insect species. I was also involved in insect plant
interactions and host plant resistance studies. I have worked on insect pests
of cotton, watermelon, potato, field crops, vegetables, pistachio and
vineyard. Currently I am focusing on the development of an environmentally
sound pest management program to control the potato tuberworm in the Columbia
Basin, including over-wintering phenology and economic injury level of this pest in potato.
Area of Expertise
Insect ecology, biological control, arthropod sampling, host plant resistance, tritrophic interaction and IPM.
