Certification

Based on the Oregon Seed Potato Standards for  Micropropagation,our laboratory & greenhouse facilities, records, disease testing  results for in vitro mother plants, and greenhouse minituber & plantlets stocks are inspected & certified by the Oregon Seed Certification Service each year.

Limited Generation Program

Oregon's seed potato program is one of the best in the nation and provides rigid lab and field inspection procedures. Limited-Generation growers receive meristem-derived pre-nuclear transplants and minitubers from the Oregon State University Foundation Potato Seed Program. Pre-nuclear lots are increased through the various generations under rigid field sanitation and certification regimes. Generation 5 lots are not eligible for re-certification.
