Multigendered, pluralistic community seeks enthusiastic members. Must have an earnest desire to save the world. If you dig the poetry of a ripe tomato, get in touch, sunflower.
The Organic Growers Club is wide open to your ideas and enthusiasm! We have over 200 members and growing. All levels of participation are welcome!
The Club is governed by a core council of about 10-15 dedicated members. (See the Contact Us page for names and pictures of some of them.) The council is open to all members. There is a separate email list for the councilors, used for daily communication about farm projects, meetings, plans, etc. The council is a great place to really get involved in planning the interesting projects that we have.
Council meetings are efficient, fun, and held as needed (traditionally on Tuesday nights at the Old World Deli.) Members bring agenda items and at the beginning of each meeting a Scribe and Facilitator are assigned. The scribe is responsible for taking notes and emailing them to the council in a timely fashion. The facilitator is in charge of keeping the discussion on topic, and ensuring that meetings last no more than one hour.

- Irrigation system, including pump workings
- Veggie sale setup/organization
- Hoo Haa planning
- Organic Farming Class planning/organization

Summer Internship
The Club sponsors two paid internships during the summer when many members are away. Interns are charged with running the farm and have been crucial in preserving the continuity of the Club from season to season. Wanna know more? See the Summer Internship page.
