What's the Hoo Haa?! 

It's spring! Come out and touch fertile ground. Reconnect with the good Earth that brings you the food you crave! Students, get out of the library and breathe some fresh air. All community members and children welcome. Plant seeds, turn ground, see a chicken tractor, enjoy good food donated from local businesses.

Time: Noon til 5pm

Location: Organic Growers Student Farm (directions)

Admission: FREE!!

FREE Live Music and Poetry!

FREE Transportation: Ride the Earth Bus! (courtesy of Campus Recycling)

  • Shuttles run every ~20 minutes starting at 12PM
  • Stops: 
    • OSU Bookstore Parking Lot - 12:00 PM
    • Oak Creek Center for Urban Horticulture (the old bee farm!)
    • Organic Grower's Farm (Hoo Haa!) 
  •  Ride your bike! (limited car parking available)

Kids Welcome! (Please leave dogs at home)

  • FREE Vegetarian Food: Thanks ORGS, SDA (Student Dietetics Association)
  • FREE Vegetarian MUSIC and Poetry: special music guests
  • Bring your own axe (err...musical instrument) for informal music making
  • PLANT SEENDS, TOUCH SOIL, BREATHE FRESH AIR:
    • We're bringing stuff to plant - Beets, greens, lettuce transplants, thousands of onions, etc.
  • AND MORE: SOIL PIT "REALITY ZONE!", Giant Slingshot!!, Electrical Bicycle and Trailer!!, Electric Tractor!!, Bubble Artist!!, Poetry Reading!!!, Baby Chicks!!!!

Bring a turning fork if you have one!! (the human "till machine" will be in the house!!!)
