Daryl Ehrensing, long-time senior faculty research assistant in Crop and
Soil Science, died unexpectedly from a heart attack on August 10. Daryl
had done extensive work with alternative crops including meadowfoam,
flax, wild rice, Russian Dandelion and canola over the past decades.
His wealth of knowledge and willingness to help others explore new
cropping opportunities will be missed.
