Applying to the Soil Science Graduate Program

Your application must be processed through the Graduate School, where your portfolio is developed and then distributed to Soil Science. We offer Merit Scholarships each year, with a deadline of 1 February for full consideration.

If you have already applied on-line to another graduate program at OSU this year, then you will need to submit a paper application to Soil Science via post mail to the Graduate School. When you turn in the paper (Soils) application to the Graduate School office, you need to put a note on it indicating you have previously applied for another department via the on-line process. That way the Grad School won't hold up your paper application waiting for another application fee. So, you only pay once. Email your Soils Graduate Program application to Barb Reed and then print it out, sign, attach explanatory note and mail that to the Grad School.
