TIMETABLE FOR M.S. THESIS STUDENTS IN SOIL SCIENCE

Year		Activities	Date Completed
1		Choose major professor(s)
		Choose committee members and declare minor
		Send Program of Study Statement to Soil Science Graduate Faculty for review by end of second term
		File official OSU Graduate Program of Study form with Graduate School before finishing 18 credits
2		Before scheduling thesis, file the "Approval to Proceed with Final Defense" Form with Graduate School, which includes thesis title approval
		Give thesis seminar
		Schedule thesis defense and provide a copy of your thesis at least one week before the defense date
		Submit final copies of thesis to Graduate School no later than six weeks after exam
Before graduating, be sure to fulfill
