Are you a student looking for a summer job?

The Wheat Research project is not currently accepting applications for summer employment.

Check back next March for an opportunity to spend next summer working outdoors and join our experienced staff learning about agriculture, research, and wheat production.

Additional Information:

Student workers must be willing and able to work outdoors and travel.  Duties include field work such as plot maintenance, tagging and note-taking, combine harvesting, hand harvesting, threshing, seed cleaning and processing, and preparations for planting.

Potential employment begins in mid-June and lasts through September or October.  You must be a student and at least 18 years old.  Starting wage is $9.00/hour.  Overtime hours during harvest are anticipated.

Checkout some harvest photos from past years.

For more information contact Eddie Simons.  You can download a fillable application then email it in or print it and bring it by our office at Crop Science 231.
