Academic Interests:

My current research is focused on the affects of anaerobically digested dairy manure on carbon and nitrogen cycling in Oregon Soils, including greenhouse gas emissions. However, I am interested in applied research involving soil microbiology, soil carbon and nitrogen cycling, greenhouse gas emissions, sustainable agricultural practices, and how these are influenced by cultural practices on an international level. I received a BA in Anthropology in 2013 and a MS in Biological and Environmental Sciences in the sustainable agriculture and food systems program in 2016, both from the University of Rhode Island.
