Francisco Calderon

I work with a variety of techniques to evaluate soil organic matter and soil fertility in dryland wheat production fields. In addition, I carry out research about the performance of alternative crops and organic farming in wheat crop rotations. Currently, I am looking at the effects of long term management like tillage, cover crops, and rotation sequences on soil quality and crop yields.
