Biography

Brian has been a faculty research assistant since 2015, after graduating from OSU with a Crop and Soil Science degree. He started his career working for OSU in their Cereals Extension program, where he maintained the wheat and barley state variety trials located throughout Oregon, Washington and Idaho. In 2018, he joined the Seed Extension program, where he focuses on large-scale grass and clover seed trials throughout the Willamette Valley. Current research includes a federally granted fine fescue seed production project, pest management in grass and clover seed crops and overall enhancement of Willamette Valley seed production. Brian also helps maintain Willamette Valley winter wheat variety and disease evaluation sites.
