Dr. Antwi is an Assistant Professor and Irrigated Crop Entomology Specialist at Oregon State University. Dr. Antwi has a statewide extension and applied research assignment. Dr. Antwi received her Ph.D. in Entomology from Texas A&M University, College Station in 2015. She completed her first postdoctoral scholar study at Oregon State University (2015-2017) and a second at Louisiana State University (2017-2018). Her research interest in insect ecology focuses on insect-microbial interactions with plants, insect molecular ecology, and the role that the environment plays on these interactions. Dr. Antwi's ultimate goal is to focus on parts of this multi-trophic interactions that could be exploited for developing sustainable pest management programs that reduce economic and environmental costs. Her extension and research program is designed to provide research-based information to support Oregon growers, stakeholder groups, local industry, and county extension agents.
