Soft White Winter Wheat
Bobtail is an awnletted semi-dwarf soft white winter wheat; comparable to Skiles in height, with exceptional straw strength. The stiff, thick leaf makes for a unique and upright plant appearance. Bobtail is an exceptionally high yielding variety that excels in high rainfall and irrigated areas.
Bobtail’s disease package is also remarkable, being resistant to current races of stripe rust, septoria leaf blotch and cephalosporium stripe. In addition, Bobtail has the Pch2 gene for strawbreaker footrot.
This powerhouse yield performer will save you time and money fighting disease.
